Feature: Epic Alliance

A few months back, Sharon Carey, the Director of the Terre Haute Crisis Pregnancy Center, contacted me about building a website that was geared toward young adults that would encourage them to make healthy life choices. For those of you who know me well, you know that I am a big advocate for Life and in the last year or so I started an organization called Life Inspired Love as an attempt to reach all generations about the value of life. I was initially driven by the injustice of abortion but the more it has developed the more I have grown to see that to really see a change is to reach the next generation....they are after all the future of tomorrow. If there is a change of hearts - in how young people view themselves and each other - if they start to value authentic love and healthy relationships then we will see the effects of that in a positive way throughout our society. So my focus has become more and more on young adults. I've actually spoken at several high schools about the importance of self-value and authentic love and have even had the opportunity to share my own personal story. I feel that God has put a passion in my heart for all the young men and women out there who simply need to know they are EPIC and deserve EPIC love! Which is how the idea for Epic Alliance came about.

Epic Alliance is an online resource for young people to hear and understand the truth about dating, relationships, sex as well as the consequences of poor choices and rewards of healthy ones. It's a way for them to connect with others who share the same values so they have support in their convictions. It is meant to provide them with confidence in choosing a better life for themselves, a life they deserve.

My hope is that it reaches just one person. My heart's desire is that this helps just one young man or young woman to do the right thing, in a world where the message is "do whatever feels good".

Epic Alliance is sponsored by the Terre Haute Crisis Pregnancy Center and is connected to their Creating Positive Relationships program. I am honored to be a part of something this big! Helping people live better lives is Epic and I'm always thankful when I can do even a small part in something like that! But I can't take credit for any of this...God is definitely behind the scenes and the true coordinator of it all.
